Irene-Ann

Hello, my name is Irene-Ann Allison and DG9-K9 is my business. I have had an interest in all animals from a very young age, however, dogs have always been a big love of mine and I cannot ever imagine being without a well-balanced dog as a constant companion. My curiosity about dog behaviour and training became more focused when, years ago, one of my own dogs used to attack the other. I got a trainer in to see what they thought was happening and they advised my dogs were fine, well-behaved dogs, and there was nothing wrong. I was left feeling dissatisfied and annoyed as the problem continued, so I started to look for a solution myself.

My more formal training and development started after another one of my dogs had pups and she could not imprint on them, leaving me and my partner 2 little puppies to hand rear from day 1! I really wanted to understand what was happening for my dogs, and how I could best help them be content and happy;  meeting all of their needs, and so, DG9-K9 evolved from my curiosity of all things dog! The more I learned, the more I wanted to share with others, to help them on their journey with their canine friends, too.
